Cannoli Cheese Ball
Your favorite Italian dessert is now a Cannoli Cheese Ball that is easy to make and fun to serve! Creamy and covered in chocolate chips. Serve with cinnamon sticks for the full effect!
Cannoli Cheese Ball
Cannolis are such a fun Italian dessert. Maybe one of my favorites but making cannoli shells with cannoli tubes is such a pain in the ass! In an attempt to make cannolis easier, I made a version into s’mores.
My Cannoli S’mores are a fun way to make cannolis without a lot of the fuss and still get the crispy texture of the cannoli shells without using cannoli tubes. I have tried to make the shells from scratch and have failed so many times!!!
Let’s face it, everyone needs an easier option to their favorite dessert when your time is short and you are stressed and you just want to get the food into your mouth as fast as possible.

Cannoli Dessert
Have you ever made a cannoli from scratch? I have attempted this only once and the reason why I only did it once was that it was a pain in the A$%!
Making the dough, cutting it out, wrapping it around the cannoli forms, frying or baking the shells. Even while doing all this you still need to make the filling!
My Cannoli Cheese Ball makes the whole process of making cannolis easier and you can get the cannoli in your mouth faster.
My hack for making the process easier, besides making the filling into a creamy and sweet cheese ball, is to use cinnamon graham sticks instead of cannoli shells.
Just like my cannoli smores, you can use pie crust instead of traditional cannoli shells but I recommend using a sturdier dipping vehicle.
Cannoli filling is the best part of the cannoli in my opinion but the original filling is a little loose for a cheese ball so I added some cream cheese to the mix.
You can’t forget the little bit of orange zest that rounds out the flavors so I add orange extract to the mix but if you have an orange on hand it would be better to use some fresh orange zest.
Once you get the ingredients mixed and shaped into a ball, you can’t forget about the mini chocolate chips that are usually on the ends of the cannolis. Roll the cannoli cheese ball in the mini chocolate chips and your cannoli is now complete!
My cannoli cheese ball is going to be the MVP at your next party!

This is the best cannoli I’ve ever tasted. It was messy, but I love it.
