Caramel Corn Phyllo Cups
Who says party appetizers or finger foods need to be savory? NOT THIS GIRL!
I’m thinking that we need more dessert in our lives so I am whipping up dessert appetizers! These count as a meal course, right?!
Better make them bite sized so we don’t get carried away…
My favorite way to serve finger foods is in a neat little cup, that you can eat of course! No one wants to wash a pile of tine dishes, do they?
Edible cups are easily made with pie crust, wonton wrappers, and even puff pastry. But I love phyllo dough best because it is so light, crispy, and flaky!
I took my filo shells, filled them with a whipped cream cheese, and topped them with my mom’s caramel corn and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
These caramel corn phyllo cups are WWAAAYYYY better than the usual cheesecake phyllo cups! The whole batch was gone in less than 15 minutes. And that is only because I was walking around with the tray 😉

Ingredients Needed
- cream cheese (I like the whipped variety – saves time later!)
- caramel sauce (salted is great too!)
- caramel corn (check out my recipe for homemade)
Don’t forget your phyllo cups! I like to make mine homemade but feel free to grab them, pre-made, in your freezer section.
Stock up when they are on sale as they last a while in the freezer!

How to Make Caramel Corn Phyllo Cups
First: Gather your ingredients! Stir the cream cheese to whip it up a bit. Lightly chop your caramel corn if it’s in large chunks.
Second: Add 1 tablespoon of whipped cream cheese to each phyllo cup.
Third: Drizzle with caramel sauce and top with caramel corn. Serve and enjoy!
Isn’t this just one of the easiest dessert recipes you have ever seen?!?
For the full recipe and detailed instructions, please refer to the recipe card at the bottom of the post.
How do you keep them from getting soggy?
The whipped cream cheese isn’t likely to make the cups soggy as it’s pretty thick.
If you are still worried, drizzle a little melted chocolate in the bottom of the cup, let it harden, and then top with cream cheese filling. Dark chocolate is best!
Can I make this ahead of time?
Because they require only 3 ingredients, and all of them already prepared, it’s best to assemble them no more than 1 hour ahead of serving time.
