Baked Brie with Jam Recipe
I know the holidays are always very busy so I am here with a recipe for one of the easiest appetizers around.
Imagine rich melty cheese, topped with the sweetness of the jam, and crunchy nuts.
Perfect all by itself or make it the center of your charcuterie board. Want to leave out the jam? Make Baked Brie with Honey, or wrap the brie in puff pastry instead.
I love it so much I bake it in phyllo cups and switch up the flavors. Check out my Raspberry Brie Cups and my Apricot Pistachio Brie Cups.
What is Brie Cheese?
This delicious cheese comes from France originally but you can find it just about everywhere now.
It’s a creamy cheese, soft on the inside, and covered in an edible rind with a slightly tangy flavor.
Made from cow’s milk, it can be made with goat’s milk making it perfect to pair with some many things.

Serve with your favorite crackers, grapes, apples, and bread slices.
For the full recipe and detailed instructions, please refer to the recipe card at the bottom of the post.
How long does it last?
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Reheat in the oven or microwave in short intervals until melted again.
Do you remove the rind from brie cheese before baking?
The brie rind is edible but if you prefer to remove it that is a personal preference.
If you want to remove it just trim it off the top of the cheese and leave the sides and bottom.
This will contain the cheese from spreading all over the dish.
What jam goes best with brie cheese?
I prefer a tart or sour jam like raspberry or cherry but feel free to use a sweet jam like fig or apricot jam.
Basically any flavor of jam or fruit spread that you like.
Do you have to bake brie before eating?
Most of the time I serve it, I bake it to make it all melty and spread it on crackers.
But you can serve it cold. I like to slice it and place it on sandwiches.
