Broccoli – Frozen or fresh steamed broccoli florets works best.

Cream cheese – Soften cream cheese for easier mixing.

Mayo – Duke’s is my favorite brand. It’s super creamy!

Spices – Cajun seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder. Salt and black pepper if desired.

Microwave: Scoop dip into a microwave-safe bowl and heat in short intervals. Stir often until heated through.

Oven: Transfer dip to an oven-safe dish. Cover with foil to keep it from drying out. Bake at 350F for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.

Can you freeze it?

While it’s technically possible to freeze Hot Broccoli Dip, the dairy products can separate or become grainy after freezing and thawing.

If you do need to freeze it, be sure to:

  1. Allow the dip to cool completely before freezing. Freeze in smaller portions to avoid reheating too many times.
  2. Transfer the dip to a freezer-safe container or zip-top bag. Make sure to remove any excess air to prevent freezer burn.
  3. Don’t forget to label the container with the name and date!
  4. When you’re ready to eat, thaw it in the refrigerator overnight.
  5. Reheat the dip gently in the oven or microwave, stirring occasionally to ensure even heating.
