Ingredients

pound
chicken tenders
2
large eggs {beaten)
½
cup
breadcrumbs
¼
cup
Panko crumbs **see notes

teaspoon
garlic powder
¼
teaspoon
black pepper
½
teaspoon
seasoned salt
½
cup
all-purpose flour
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 370 degrees F.
Clean and trim chicken if necessary.
Add bread crumbs and seasonings to shallow bowl or plate, mix together with a fork.
Add beaten eggs to shallow bowl or plate.
Add flour to shallow bowl or plate.
Dip one chicken tender in flour, then in eggs, and then in breadcrumbs mixture. Coating evenly on all sides.
Set aside on plate or tray.
Repeat with 3-4 more tenders.
Cook chicken for 8-10 minutes, depending on size of tenders or until golden and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
While chicken is cooking, prepare more chicken with coating.
Repeat cooking until all chicken is cooked.
Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Remove the “string” from the chicken tenderloins.
Freeze a large batch of the cooked leftover chicken tenders in an airtight container and reheat when you are ready.
If you like more crunch, use all Panko breadcrumbs and leave out the regular bread crumbs.
For best results, do not stack the tenders, cook them in a single layer. You need hot air circulation to get them crispy all around
Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes to keep them from sticking to the basket.
Season your coating with your favorite herbs and spices!
Air fryers don’t need oil but I like to spray mine tenders lightly. It helps them brown in color.
You can lightly spray the air fryer basket if it doesn’t have a non-stick coating.
