Ingredients
8
ounces
cream cheese
softened
8
ounces
Cool Whip
thawed
1
box
18.3 ounces fudge brownie mix
3
tablespoons
milk
½
cup
mini chocolate chips for garnish
you can also use sprinkles if you can’t find these
Items for dipping
pretzels, graham crackers, shortbread cookies, fruit
Instructions
Whip or mix the cream cheese until fluffy. Stir in the cool whip without over beating it. It will break down.
Fold in the brownie mix until combined.
Stir in 1 tablespoon of milk at a time until desired consistency is reached.
Chill until ready to serve.
Notes
Soften the cream cheese until close to room temperature for easier mixing.
Thaw the whipped topping so it mixes smoothly with the cream cheese.
Use a hand mixer or stand mixer for best mixing.
If the dip is too thin, stir in 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder or chocolate pudding mix. Too thick, stir in some milk.
Don’t forget to chill before serving – this is the best way to make sure you have a nice dip consistency that’s solid enough to scoop.
Stir in peanut butter for another level of flavor. Top with chocolate chips, crumbled chocolate chip cookies, sprinkles, or mini m&m candies.
Perfect for baby showers, bridal showers, or midnight cravings!
If you are concerned with eating raw brownie mix, you can solve this with heat treating the dry brownie mix.
