Ingredients

block of cream cheese
softened
¼
cup
brown sugar
½
teaspoon
vanilla extract
16
oz
store bought caramel dipping sauce
1/2
cup
toffee bits or crushed Heath bars
Granny smith apples for dipping
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla.
Mix until smooth.
Spread the cream cheese in an even layer in the bottom of a serving bowl.
Heat caramel dip according the the package and pour over cream cheese layer.
Spread to cover it as best you can.
Top the caramel layer with candy bar bits or crushed toffee and serve with fresh apple slices.
Notes
Soften cream cheese to room temperature for easier mixing.
Use a hand mixer or stand mixer for cream cheese to get it smooth.
Serve it cold or right after heating caramel dip for a hot/cold bite.
Substitute Heath bars, Heath bits, or a SKOR bar for a crushed heath bar.
Top with chocolate chips or sprinkles for more color.
Add toasted pecans, chopped walnuts, or slivered almonds.
Use a 8x8 baking dish or 9 inch pie plate.
Double the recipe and use a 9x13 casserole dish for a crowd.
