Ingredients
1
tablespoon
onion powder
1
tablespoon
garlic powder
1
tablespoon
smoked paprika
1 ½
tablespoons
cumin
1
tablespoon
chili powder
½
tablespoon
oregano
2
teaspoons
salt
1
teaspoon
black pepper
¼
teaspoon
red pepper flakes
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Store in a cool, dry place until ready to use.
Use 2 tablespoons per pound of chicken.
Notes
Use the freshest spices you can find. I like to buy mine in bulk and make a triple batch.
Store in an airtight container in the dark, away from heat to make it last longer.
This spice mix will last up to 6 months if you don't use it all before then.
Use this on boneless skinless chicken breast, boneless skinless chicken thighs, and even when making ground chicken tacos!
Don't want chicken? Use this on ground beef or ground turkey too.
I like to use 2 tablespoons per pound of meat.
