Ingredients
2
pork tenderloins
~2 lbs
1/2
cup
caramelized onions
2
pears
sliced
8
lettuce leaves
1/4
cup
horseradish sauce
8
slider buns
1
tablespoon
olive oil
salt
pepper, rosemary for seasoning
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F. Toast slider buns if desired.
Season the pork tenderloins. Heat olive oil in an oven safe skillet over medium high heat. Sear the pork tenderloins for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Place skillet in oven and bake for 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145F.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Slice and assemble the sliders by adding lettuce, horseradish sauce (optional), pear slices, caramelized onions.
Enjoy!
Notes
Season the pork with minimal seasoning to allow the pears and caramelized onions to shine!
Great for using leftover pork, just reheat and serve!
Substitute rosemary for thyme as it pairs perfectly with the pears!
The pork is great served warm or cold.
Pat the pork tenderloin with paper towels to dry it before you sear it.
You can serve this on a dinner roll but I love a crusty texture.
More spice? try garlic powder or a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
